Manacor does not lose its liveliness during the winter; it is consistent and not dominated by any single group of foreigners or Mallorcan residents. Monday is market day in Manacor, and the streets around the town center, forming the square surrounding the church, are full of vendors selling the usual variety of goods. The market starts early and finishes around 1:30 PM. Naturally, the bars and restaurants are busier than usual at this time of day. It is within a 30-minute drive from the airport via the Manacor/Palma highway.
